MPP/MPA Capstone and Program Evaluation Projects
Public service education cannot happen in the classroom alone, so the Trachtenberg School's Capstone and Program Evaluation courses allow graduate students to complete significant projects for government and non-profit agencies. These projects benefit the agencies and the communities they serve, and provide the students with valuable hands-on experience.
Community Service Projects and Activities
The Anacostia Tutoring Program was established twenty years ago by Trachtenberg School students and faculty, in partnership with Anacostia High School in Southeastern Washington, DC. Today, numerous Trachtenberg School students serve as tutors and mentors each year.
Students also organize a number of service projects throughout the year. For more information about the Anacostia Program and information about upcoming or recent service events, visit our Community Service page.
