The Trachtenberg School is excited to announce a new opportunity for its Master’s students:  to study abroad in Berlin! We have partnered with the Hertie School of Governance to deliver a new Exchange Program in Berlin, Germany.  The Hertie School is taught in English, and attracts international public policy and public administration students interested in the fields of global or European governance, economic policy, social policy and public management.

This new exchange program provides a unique opportunity for our students to live and study in Europe. The exchange program also provides an international perspective to the Trachtenberg experience, one that will stay with students when they return to Washington.

In this inaugural fall semester, the Trachtenberg School has been pleased to host two Hertie students. Magdalena Orth and Daniel Gyamerah have added valuable discussion to our courses and have been wonderful ambassadors of the Hertie School.

We are delighted to be able to offer this experience to our students and look forward to our continued partnership with the Hertie School.
